Dark Crystal, The (Widescreen, Collector's Edition)
"The Dark Crystal" is a masterful live-action fantasy starring some of Jim Henson's most imaginative creatures ever! Directed by Jim Henson and Frank Oz and produced by Gary Kurtz ("Star Wars", "The Empire Strikes Back"), "The Dark Crystal" brilliantly weaves a timeless myth of Good and Evil! In another time, "The Dark Crystal"- a source of Balance and Truth in the Universe- was shattered, dividing the world into two factions: the wicked Skeksis and the peaceful Mystics. Now, as the convergence of the three suns approaches, the Crystal must be healed, or darkness will reign forevermore! It's up to Jen -the last of his race- to fulfill the prophecy that a Gelfling will return the missing shard to the Crystal and destroy the Skeksis' evil Empire. But will young Jen's courage be any match for the unknown dangers that await him? Jim Dine Prints, 1985-2000: A Catalogue Raisonne by Elizabeth Carpenter,
One of the most recognizable of American artists, and one of America's most innovative printmakers, Jim Dine has created a multidisciplinary oeuvre tied together by his continued use and reinvention of familiar imagery. Hearts, bathrobes, skulls, tools, the Crommelynck gate, Venus de Milo, self-portraits, plants, and flowers -- Dine infuses these personal metaphors with new meanings and continually depicts them in novel and diverse contexts. Some of these motifs have become recognized as clearly symbolic: the bathrobe figures as a self-portrait, the heart as a symbol of his love for wife Nancy. Over time, Dine has added new images to his iconic repertory. Mountains, ancient Greco-Roman sculpture, owls, hands, trees, apes, Pinocchio, and ravens figure prominently in the prints he has made since 1985. This catalogue raisonne fully documents Dine's evolving imagery and technical experimentation from the late 80s through the millennium, including his limited-edition illustrated books, and establishes his absolute maturity as an artist. A glossary of printmaking terms, a selected print exhibition history and bibliography, and a discussion of his poetry and literary leanings make this catalog complete.

Limited edition books - A limited edition book is a description of a book which is released in a set quantity, usually relatively small, and connotes a level of scarcity or exclusivity. The term also implies that no further additional books will be released which have the same design treatment, unlike open-ended trade editions wherein further copies may be released in more print runs as the first printings are sold out.

Beta (Magic: The Gathering) - Limited Edition Beta (or just Beta for short) was the second print run of the first Magic: The Gathering set. It was released only a few months following Limited Edition Alpha's publication to correct some minor problems in the rules and to make up for the fact that the first run had completely sold out.

Mosaic Records - Mosaic records is an American specialist jazz record label, founded in 1983 by Michael Cuscuna and Charlie Louris to issue coherent limited edition box sets (initially on LP) of jazz recordings by individual musicians, which had fallen out of print or suffered neglect. The sets would be leased from the major record companies, usually for a three or five year period, with the edition limited to a specific number of copies.

Carnival Of Excess: Limited Edition - Carnival Of Excess: Limited Edition is a limited edition reissue of the album Carnival Of Excess, recorded by notorious punk rock performance artist GG Allin with one-time studio group The Criminal Quartet. This release, which contains the previously unreleased original mixes of the songs that Allin heard before he left Florida (with one exception, "Outskirts Of Life", which used the mix from the original 1996 release), was issued in limited editions of 100 white vinyl albums and 1200 compact discs.
